My hosting provider automatically logs who visits my site and when. This includes things like your IP address, browser, operating system, and the time of your visit. Personally, I don’t read these logs—I’ve got better things to do (like inventing magic tricks). The data disappears on its own after a few days.
I don’t set any cookies myself. No tracking, no ad snooping. What the shop remembers (like your chosen language or whether you’ve seen a notice) is stored locally in your browser (localStorage)—that’s not a cookie, and it doesn’t get sent to me. If you pay with PayPal, the shop loads the PayPal script only at that moment; PayPal may then set its own cookies, as the payment wouldn’t work otherwise. Other payment methods don’t load this script.
I don’t use Google Fonts or any other externally hosted fonts. All typefaces are loaded from my own server. That means there’s no sneaky data transfer to Google or anyone else—the letters come straight from me.
If you email me, I’ll see your email address. Shocking, I know. I’ll reply, delete the message eventually, and that’s that. No spam, no unwanted newsletters without your explicit sign-up.
If you place an order, I need your name, address, and payment details. Without this information, I can’t send you anything. I use the data solely for shipping and billing. Legal retention requirements (accounting) force me to keep some data for up to 10 years. After that: gone.
I don’t share your data—except with the delivery service so they know where to ring the doorbell, with my accountant (or they’d be in a bad mood), and—if you use the shop chat—with the AI service Mistral AI (see Section 9).
If you pay via PayPal, credit card, or similar, your payment details go to the respective payment provider. This is technically unavoidable. But: I only receive confirmation that the payment was made—no full bank details.
The shop may feature a chat where you can ask questions about products before purchasing. If you use it, your message (along with the necessary product/shop context from my knowledge base) is sent to the AI provider Mistral AI (Mistral AI SAS, France / European Union) to generate a response.
No payment data, no order history, and no tracking profiles are sent to Mistral—only what is necessary for the chat response. The chat does not set its own cookies.
Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures at your request) and/or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in providing clear product information).
The transmission is encrypted. In addition, I may store your question (without IP address, timestamp, or language tag) in an internal log that is blocked from HTTP access, in order to improve shop help. I do not permanently store full chat histories for advertising purposes. Whether Mistral maintains technical logs and for how long is governed by their privacy policy—you can find the latest details directly at Mistral AI.
You don’t have to use the chat. If you don’t open it, nothing is sent to Mistral.
You have the full range of GDPR rights: access, rectification, erasure, restriction, and objection. Just write to me. I’m a magician, not a bureaucrat—but I’ll take care of it.
My website runs over SSL (https). That means any data you enter here travels encrypted across the web. It’s like a magical protective spell against data theft.
In short: I only collect what’s absolutely necessary. No hocus-pocus, no data magic. And now—enough bureaucracy—back to the magic.
